Panthers Youth Football & Top Cats Cheerleading is always looking for special people who can donate their time by coaching and volunteering. If there is some way that you can help out - please contact the Board and let them know how you can help. The following is a current list of openings for the 2006 Season. |

Duties/Responsibilities: Make copies of handouts and flyers and distribute to Team Mom/Parent Volunteer. Communicate information and duties to each Team Moms/Parent Volunteers.

(Volunteer Application and Fees) Duties/Responsibilities: Distribute handouts, flyers, and information to parents. Team Mom/Parent Volunteers will need to call parents to remind parents of certain events such as certification and pictures; or any changes in the schedule or locations. Each Team Mom/Parent Volunteer will need to create and handout Snack/Half-Time Oranges schedules and water for football and cheer. Other duties may be assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities: Paint & decorate banners for all division games home and away. Work with the Homecoming Committee for banners signs and special decorations.

Duties/Responsibilities: Organize, distribute and collect Fireworks and Haunted House tickets for the remainder of 2006 season and the beginning of 2007 season. Sell raffle tickets at home games. This committee will be responsible for scheduling parent volunteers to man the Fireworks booth and the Haunted House Concessions Stand for one to two nights. Reminder calls to volunteers must be made, so that we are not without coverage. Fundraising Committee will also call for Sponsorships and/or donations. The Committee will be provided with necessary guidelines and paperwork and will work closely with the Panthers President.

Several Positions Available
Duties/Responsibilities: Planning, organizing and coordinating homecoming booths for all divisions. Order, reserve, pick up and return items used for Homecoming. Scheduling parent volunteers to man each booth throughout the homecoming game as well as a clean up crew. The Homecoming Committee will work closely with the Panthers President and an outline will be provided to help in planning.

Duties/Responsibilities: Receiving and ordering food and beverage items. Scheduling parents to set up, clean-up and man the concessions stand for all home games and home field events.

Duties/Responsibilities: Issue equipment to players at the beginning of the season and collect all equipment at the end of the season.

Duties/Responsibilities: Will make a chain gang schedule from volunteer list for all home games and home field events including the Round Robin and Play Off games. This person shall make copies of the schedule to give to volunteers and make reminder calls to the volunteers.

Several Positions Available Duties/Responsibilities: Attend all scheduled games. Run chain gang during games. Communicate with Chain Gang Supervisor if there is a scheduling problem, so that Chain Gang will have coverage. All divisions (Starts, Rookies, JV, & Varsity) need at 3 volunteers for each division. (We are charged referee overtime and late charges when we do not have a Chain Gang).

Must be available for all games: home and away. Will weigh all opposing teams in all divisions. Needs to be knowledgeable of rules and regulations regarding weights.
Must be male per NYFL rules and regulations.
