Located in Modesto California. We are the premier youth football and cheer organization in the area. Focusing on quality coaching and instruction, our participants learn to work together and the end result is a highly competitive, well trained, football team. Our organization consists of 4 football teams and 4 cheer teams. Football ages 6 to 14 and Cheer ages 5 to 14. While the football team rosters have strict restrictions as far as age and weight, the cheer teams are much more flexible. We practice at Calvary Temple Christian School and play our Home games at the same location. We have open sign-ups now and throughout the year.
There are no try-outs! We sign up to 40 players on each team. If you sign-up, you make the team. There are no cuts, and each player is guaranteed to play a minimum of 8 plays every game. We are dedicated to providing every player with the opportunity to participate and progress, regardless of their athletic ability. The new season is here, and as we gear up for a great new year we can feel the excitement in the air. This season looks to be a great one as we prepare to defend our Super-Bowl Titles against some great competitive teams. Throughout this it is important that we strive to create a positive environment and one that centers on participation before competition. With the great new tools that our coaching staff has been given by the Positive Coaching Alliance Certification program, we are confident that our team and organization is ready and well prepared to create a great environment for all of our children to succeed in.
Football sign-ups and fundraising activities are on-going. We conduct sign-ups year-round on the website. There is much interest from youth and families wishing to sign up with our Championship program. Because we do not reserve roster spots or conduct try-outs, it is important that you do not delay in signing up. Once our rosters are filled, we cannot accept any further participants. To build and maintain an organization that fosters personal growth for
the youth in the community we serve. To encourage participation from every family member involved, while maintaining strict guidelines for the adult staff involved. Provide support for the development of self-esteem through positive reinforcement while offering direction and leadership through personal example. To use the game of football and sport of cheerleading to instill in our players the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and dedication. To offer our players the opportunity to develop and improve their skills each week in a controlled, supervised, environment of safe competition that is fun for everyone. To provide skilled staff who are dedicated to the youth in our community and share the NYFL philosophy of participation before competition. To maintain a high standard of expectations from all persons involved.
